Installing Linux Mint Using Windows

Installing Linux has always been somewhat a challenge to the average user and power user, but in this tutorial I will be going over in detail how to install Linux Mint onto a LiveUSB using three methods. The first being the easiest, installing using a GUI application called YUMI for the average user and the second method using the Command Prompt and DOS commands for the power user.
  1. YUMI Installer

The YUMI is acts as a Universal USB Installer acting as a middle man between the user and the computer to install any operating system onto it. It achieves this by the following:
Allow the User to Install the OS onto the Flash Drive
    Pick the Operating System
Allow the User to Install another OS onto the Flash Drive

Step 1: Download and Install YUMI

Step 2: Download the Linux Mint ISO

Step 3: Use YUMI to install Linux Mint onto a USB
